History

2001 – Foundation
The birth of the HOOD Group in Munich marks the beginning of a success story in consulting and supporting customers in developing complex software and systems using requirements engineering principles.

2002 – First REConf
Now Europe’s leading conference focussing on requirements engineering, REConf took place for the first time in March 2002.

2005 – HOOD Software Division
The Software Development Division offers our customers support for their processes by extending the RM&E infrastructure with customised solutions.

2007 – Cooperation with IREB
We are proud to be a Training and Platinum Partner. This involves working very closely with the IREB.

2008 – HOOD becomes agile
Agile transformation does not stop at requirements engineering. HOOD was one of the first to take this topic onboard. HOOD not only provides support in agile RE but also supports entire organisations in agile transformation.

2017 – Certification according to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001
HOOD obtains ISO 9001 und ISO/IEC 27001 certification via an integrated management system certified by DQS.

2019 – Trusted Information Security Assessment EXchange certification
In order to cope with the ever-increasing threat of cybercrime, we have had ourselves certified in accordance with TISAX.
