Call for Papers

We are delighted that you wish to submit a presentation for REConf® 2027 with the motto "Building Tomorrow"!

Please register by 09 November 2026 with all documents in our online conference tool (ConfTool).

Submit Presentation in ConfTool

You should prepare the following documents for the conference online tool:

Title of presentation (max. 80 characters including spaces)
Abstract (60-80 words) giving an overview of the idea and content of your presentation
Long text (250-300 words) providing the programme committee with more information regarding the content of your presentation.
Please complete the following word template: Call for Papers Template
High-resolution photograph of the primary speaker and, if applicable, the co-speaker
Short biography of the primary speaker and, if applicable, the co-speaker

A maximum of two speakers may be specified per presentation. Likewise, no more than two speakers will be named in the conference agenda.

Primary speaker: If the presentation is accepted, the primary speaker will receive complimentary admission to the conference on Tuesday and Wednesday. To attend the workshop day (Monday), a ticket can be purchased with a 20% discount using a promotional code provided by us.

Co-speaker: The co-speaker will receive complimentary admission to the conference on the day of the presentation (Tuesday or Wednesday). To attend the other conference day, including the workshop day (Monday), a ticket can be purchased with a 20% discount using a promotional code provided by us.

This year we are offering the following presentation format:

40-minute conference presentation

Approx. 10 min introduction and adoption with Q&A session
Approx. 30 min presentation (preferably with interactive part)

Whether slides, flipchart, metaplan wall or completely free is up to you.

Feel free to invite the audience to be actively integrated into the lecture. Almost anything is possible, from small group exercises to interaction on stage to community actions for the entire audience. Interactive interludes during the lecture can significantly increase the audience's attention. Experience has also shown that it leaves a lasting impression beyond the conference boundaries into the everyday life of the visitors. Our REConf moderators are happy to offer you their support in moderating these interactions.

Please note that the theater seating leaves little room for movement.

What happens next?

We will let you know what the programme committee decides by Tuesday, 15 December 2026.

Because considerably more presentations are submitted than we have time for at REConf, regrettably, we have to reject some submissions, so ask for your understanding if we say 'no'.

The following benefits await you (and a potential co-presenter):

Welcome Reception on Monday, 19 April 2027
Complimentary access to the conference sessions on 20 and 21 April 2027 (co-speaker: on the day of the presentation only, i.e. Tuesday or Wednesday)
Participation in the evening event on Tuesday, 20 April 2027

A maximum of one co-speaker per presentation will receive complimentary access to the conference. Complimentary access can only be granted if the co-speaker has already been named at the time of submission. Subsequent registration is not possible.

Registration at the conference
When registering at the conference, you only need to give your name to receive full conference documentation and your name badge. This gives you access to the conference. Please note that due to the high number of delegates, especially on Tuesday morning, there may be delays at registration. Please therefore arrive in good time.

Travel and accommodation costs
The cost of travel and accommodation is not covered. Please arrange your own accommodation at the conference hotel or at a hotel nearby. You will find the link for booking hotel accommodation at the special REConf rate with information about the Conference Hotel on the REConf 2027 website. Please reserve your own room in advance as the allocation of rooms is limited.

Speed Presentation
You can introduce your presentation at the end of the opening keynote address on 20 or 21 April 2027. You have 45 seconds for this. It helps participants to decide which presentations they wish to attend during the day. For you, it is a very good opportunity to create interest in your presentation. To ensure that the speed presentations run smoothly, we would ask you to be present at the keynote session on the day of your presentation and to sit in the front row. You will receive further information about this (e.g., a master slide for the speed presentation) shortly before the start of REConf 2027.

Final presentation slides
We would ask to have the following ready by Tuesday, 13 April 2027: your slide for the speed presentation, your final presentations slides, as well as a PDF version of your presentation (which we will offer as a download after the conference). Further information about this to follow.

Promocodes for speakers to pass on
As a speaker, you will receive a promocode for REConf 2027, which you can pass on to colleagues and friends.
